Pastor R.J. & Lady Loretta McEwan

Pastor Rudolph A. McEwan, also known as R.J. was born in Ottawa, Canada to parents Bishop Rudolph L. McEwan and Maudlin McEwan. In 1969, his parents founded the first apostolic ministry in Ottawa, the nation’s capital. It was at this ministry that Rudolph McEwan gave his heart to the Lord. At the age of sixteen, he obeyed God’s voice to become His ministering servant to preach the Word.

Advancing as both a youth pastor and minister of music over the course of ten years, Pastor McEwan was appointed the Western-New York and Canada Youth President of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC) in 1999. His assignment covered over twenty church youth ministries. Pastor McEwan has travelled throughout Canada, the United States, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean preaching, mentoring and making disciples—helping individuals fulfill their God-given purpose in the Kingdom.

Pastor McEwan graduated with a diploma in Social Services and has utilized his skills as a youth and child care worker. He worked alongside his colleagues and together they sought to empower disadvantaged youth with hope and purpose. In June 2014, he studied at Life Training Bible School where he graduated with a diploma in Leadership Development.

In 2016, Pastor McEwan founded and officially launched McEwan Ministries. McEwan Ministries is a revival-centred ministry that desires to see others live their best lives by knowing and walking out their divine purpose in order to advance God’s Kingdom. With a mandate to empower people to live out a true spiritual encounter with Jesus Christ, McEwan Ministries provides spiritual and practical empowerment through evangelism, life coaching, mentoring and music arts. With over 15 years of pastor care service experience, In Jan. 2017, Pastor RJ McEwan & his lovely wife planted a new church fellowship in the city of Ottawa called theREACHcentre. theREACHcenter is a people-focused church with a mandate to Reach, Ready & Release people into their Kingdom Purpose regardless of race, gender or any other sociodemographic by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel of Jesus Christ operating holistically in one’s life is our top priority and agenda.

In 2003 Pastor R.J. McEwan married Loretta Naomi Henry. They have three beautiful children, Nyla, Prestige and Sage. Husband, father, mentor and spiritual coach, Pastor McEwan contains an energy that is contagious. With a transparent and down-to-earth style of communication, he spreads the message of the Kingdom of God across the world.
