Pastor RJ McEwan was born into a devout Christian family led by Bishop Rudolph McEwan Sr. and Evangelist Maudlin McEwan. Immersed in church life from an early age, he sensed the call to preach at just sixteen years old. Responding wholeheartedly to God’s voice, he pursued ministry with dedication, receiving his official Exhorter’s License at age 20 and earning full ordination as an Elder by age 26.
Over the years, Pastor McEwan has faithfully served in a wide range of ministry roles, including Minister of Music, Local Youth Pastor, and Youth President for the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ (COOLJC). In this role he oversaw youth ministries across multiple regions. His ministry has carried him from Canada to Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, where he has preached, mentored, and inspired countless individuals to walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
Today, Pastor RJ McEwan serves as the Senior Pastor of theREACHcentre International in Ottawa, Canada. He also holds the office of District Elder within the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International (PCAFI) and has been elected as a Suffragan Bishop under the leadership and spiritual covering of Presiding Bishop Lambert W. Gates.
Pastor McEwan holds a diploma in Leadership from the Life Centre School of Bible and completed studies in Social Service Work at Sir Sandford Fleming College. Beyond his ministerial responsibilities, he is a dedicated educator within the Ottawa Catholic School Board, providing mentorship, structure, and support to young learners. He continues to be a source of strength and guidance to pastors and churches throughout his community.
Driven by a passion to empower people in their spiritual journey with Jesus Christ, Pastor McEwan offers both spiritual and practical guidance through evangelism, literature, life coaching, mentorship, and music ministry. Together with his wife, Loretta, and their three children, Nyla, Prestige, and Sage, he remains steadfast in pursuing the God-given vision that defines his ministry.

A Message From our leader
Pastor Loretta Naomi McEwan was born in Toronto, Canada, and gave her life to Christ at six years old. As a teenager, she discovered her calling to ministry and faithfully served in worship, choirs, Christian Education, and other roles that shaped her character and taught her humility and servanthood.
Pastor Loretta is a graduate of Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, where she studied Executive Office Administration. Her professional skills and love for children led her to establish NylaKare Academy, a daycare devoted to helping children learn and grow. After nearly a decade of successful leadership, she transitioned back into the workforce and is now employed with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) as a DNA Sample Verification Technician, where she continues to utilize her strong administrative and organizational expertise.
In 2016, Pastor Loretta stepped into a new dimension of ministry alongside her husband and covering pastor, Pastor RJ McEwan, founder of McEwan Ministries. “Together We Soar” stands as the central vision of McEwan Ministries—a revival-centered work driven to help people live their best lives and walk boldly in their divine purpose, advancing God’s Kingdom. Through this ministry, theREACHcentre Ottawa was birthed in 2017, where Pastor Loretta currently serves as Executive Pastor. She and her husband continue to fulfill the mandate of theREACHcentre: “Reaching Without Borders.”
Pastor Loretta’s heart beats for souls. Her passion is to see women recognize who they are in God and boldly walk out their unique, God-ordained purpose. Her life scripture, which fuels her ministry, is Isaiah 61:1:
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.”
Her down-to-earth, real-talk approach to the Word has earned her deep respect from those she leads and mentors. Pastor Loretta is a quiet force—blessed, favored, and commissioned by God to advance His Kingdom around the world. She is an anointed worshipper. She carries a heart for leading people into God’s presence. Her authentic worship style creates an atmosphere where people can experience God’s love and power and leave transformed.
She is joyfully married to her best friend and purpose partner, Pastor RJ McEwan, and is the proud mother of three incredible children: her daughters Nyla Kathryn and Prestige Joelle, and her son Sage Micaiah Rudolph.
